Animal Health Canada Launches AMR Action Initiative
Animal Health Canada recently launched a new campaign on Antimicrobial Resistance, known as AMR Action (amraction.ca)
AHC’s Animal Health AMU/AMR Leadership Team is committed to delivering strategic direction in the agri-food and animal health realms, spearheading initiatives related to antimicrobial use and to the mitigation of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
AMR Action is an example of one such initiative, aiming to unify veterinary professionals, producers, and industry partners in promoting responsible antimicrobial use and ensuring animal welfare and food supply safety through collaboration and promotion of evidence-based research and best practices.
